Gunnison and Almont Restaurants
Restaurants in Gunnison and Almont tend to have a distinctly Western feel with lots of green chile, big burgers, big beers, and comfort food. That being said there are several unique dining establishments that serve Himalayan food, vegan entrees, and Southern BBQ just to name a few.
Several small coffee shops offer free wifi and at least one combines their love of bikes with their love of coffee and beer. On the upper end of the dining spectrum you’ll find a handful of excellent restaurants that are perfect for date night or entertaining clients.

Crested Butte South, Crested Butte, and Mt. Crested Butte Restaurants
At the north end of the valley, restaurants are practiced at catering to the tourism economy. Because of this you’ll find many different options that can change at the drop of a season.
Since Crested Butte and Mt. Crested Butte are tied to the seasonal resort economy, many of these restaurants shut down in April, May, October, and November to keep costs down. Since Crested Butte South is a primary residence of many year-round locals those establishments do tend to stay open year-round.
